Contributing to the campaign is simple. All we have to do is upload an image from our own outdoor activities and adventures to the Meet The Moment website. When you do that, you'll be asked to pick a nonprofit organization that you want to associate with. Just by sharing your first photo, Clif Bar will donate $5 to that cause. After that, share your photo on social media to raise even more money. For each share on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterist, CLIF will donate $1 to the organization as well. Each Facebook "likes" will also generate a $1 donation too, making it possible to really rack up the cash. Participants are also encouraged to upload multiple photos. The contest runs through October 31 of this year, at which time the photo with the most "likes" and "shares" will earn its owner an additional $10,000 contribution to the partner organization of their choice.
The nonprofits that will be benefiting from the Meet The Moment campaign this year include: the Access Fund, International Mountain Bicycling Association, Leave No Trace, Surfrider Foundation and Winter Wildlands Alliance. Each of those are worthy of earning some extra cash and I'm sure most of you already support the various causes that they represent.
