Video: Constant Motion - An Ultrarunner's Return From the Brink

In August of 2016, ultraunner Adam Campbell fell more than 100 feet (30 meters) while in a remote area of British Columbia, Canada. He ended up breaking four vertebrae and suffering lacerations that cut all the way to the bone. He had to be rebuilt using titanium rods and screws and at times he wondered if he would ever compete again. Last year he returned to the Hardrock 100 seeking answers about who he was as a person and how he could run such a difficult race again. This video takes us through that journey with him and what he finds isn't necessarily what he expected.
